Munich

• From castles, museums and art collections to lakes, parks and beer gardens, the Bavarian capital is brimming with culture and history. With its 1.6 Mio inhabitants it has all the benefits of a big city, yet still a feel of “Gemütlichkeit” (“cosiness”).

• Munich Airport “Franz Josef Strauß” (IATA-Code: MUC) lies about 32 kilometers north-east of the city and is well-connected to the city centre.
